Lying Leg Extensions

Begin with knees tucked into your chest. Arms relaxed beside you. Draw in with the bellybutton and push both legs out together, keeping the lower back flat by ensuring the abs are working properly. The angle that you go out on will be determined by your strength in the abdominals – the stronger they are the closer your legs will be to the ground. Always start on an angle to be sure you are looking after your back safely and doing the exercise as effectively as possible.
